STAR GROUP, a founding member of the Hong Kong Textiles Association, was incorporated in 1988 in Hong Kong. In 1992, a branch office was set up in Shenzhen with the additional responsibility as the final quality checkpoint. This was soon followed by the addition of a warehouse with a storage capacity of more than 20,000 sq. feet. In 1999, the company established its own spinning mill in Hunan Province, China, and later expanded our production line with our new weaving mill in 2003.

 

While our Head Office is based in Hong Kong, our spinning and weaving factories in Mainland China manufacture high-quality textiles, specialising in natural fibres such as flax, ramie, hemp etc. Our current capacity includes at least 2220 tonnes of yarns, more than 4 million yards of fabric and an annual export quantity of 5000 tonnes of various textile products. We are equipped with the world's most advanced machines, such as Savio, Schlafhorst, NSC, Fong's, Xorella etc. Our customers come from all over the world and have come to recognise our brand as the symbol of premium quality.

For over 20 years, we have also been working with nonwoven textiles, such as spun bond, spun lace, thermobond, meltblown, needle punched, water solusheet and chemicalbond fabrics. Further applications of such fabrics include surgical masks, surgical gowns etc.
